Germany Report

My trip to Germany was very fulfilling. There are over 420 Evangelical Free Churches in Germany and 40 of them attended the conference in Giessen. These were mostly churches in the range of 200-400 in attendance wanting to know the organizational factors of growth. I led three plenary sessions: Purpose and Vision, Overcoming Barriers to Growth,and Changing Roles in the Growing Church. I also led two workshops: The Role of the Sr. Pastor in the Large Church, and Financial Management in the Large Church.

Just as important, I made some friends and look forward to an ongoing relationship with the national office in Witten. We also had the opportunity to tour Wiesbaden, along the Rhine River, Cologne, and Bonn. A beautiful country to say the least!

I look forward to investing organizational help in a couple of large churches back here in the states now and returning to my plans to prepare seminars for here in the states.
